AS much as I'd like to get back to writing creatively, classes are keeping me occupied. Honors Composition is no joke. As described by the professor, it is "a class that tries to get people to become more complex thinkers." Thus, every week, we have an insanely complicated article to read, decipher, and then base a 5 page essay on. This is due every Monday. This also pretty much destroys my weekends. And, during the week, I'm tied up with environmental science, cinema art (for which I also write weekly essays), and American Literature. There's been barely any time at all for me to sit back with a cup of tea and make art of questionable taste and ability.

I haven't stopped writing, but all my writing goes to the benefit of grading. I do get a moment here and there to write, but not leisurely, which for me is what DA posts are for: "Just messing around"

So, I'll be back, sooner or later. For now, though, there's work to do. Game on.
